Luther Lee Arnold, Sr., was born on December 31, 1894 in Dyersburg, Tennessee and died on November 27, 1956 in Independence, Missouri. He lived to be 61 years old.

Died at the Mount Vernon Sanatorium for Tubercolusis. As a child, he moved with his parents to Charleston and, about 1920, he moved to Chaffee, MO. He had five children and two stepchildren (Leslie Spink and Mrs. Ted Simpher).
