Sulie Eugena Davis was born on March 8, 1890 in Pike Co., Georgia and died on October 5, 1972 in Leon Co., Florida. She lived to be 82 years old.

Married 5/2/1909 in Pike Co. GA near Zebulon. She married John H. Buchanan and gave birth to eleven children. Two of the eleven were twins and died at birth. One child, Cecil, was run over by a tractor when he was 6 years old. Some records have her first name as "Susie" but that is incorrect. Her correct first name was Sulie. All of her grand kids called her "Mama Buck". She loved to work cross word puzzles and she dipped a little snuff sometimes. Later in life she had what they called then "hardening of the arteries". She got to where she didn't know her own family members sometimes. She was lovingly cared for by her children especially, Frances, Annie Maud who lived with her and Papa Buck for many years.
