Emma Lovina Auten was born on November 27, 1856 in Fredericktown, Ohio and died on January 24, 1895 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She lived to be 38 years old.

She married Daniel Stucker Robbins. He was a Professor of Mathematics at Chillicothe Normal School. They had two children: Almer (he died as a young man) and James Auten Robbins (12/29/1894-6/25/1895)
