Johan Jacob Koser was born on March 25, 1683 in Asperglen, Wurttemberg, Germany and died on February 12, 1759 in Asperglen, Wurttemberg, Germany. He lived to be 75 years old.

He married Elizabeth Buhner (born 8/6/1681 in Steineberg, Wurttenburg Germany and died 10/6/1770) on 5/5/1705 in Asperglen, Wurttenberg Germany. They had three children: Anna Catherine (11/2/1706) ; Hans Georg (5/14/1708--1773) and Hans Jacob (7/3/1711). Both sons traveled to the United States on 9/19/1749 and settled in the Greenwich, PA area where they raised their families and were buried. Georg, the eldest, was married and took his family of six children. His younger brother, Jacob was single and married after he arrived in the US.
