Francis Marion Franklin was born on June 10, 1817 in Baldwin Co., Georgia and died on September 6, 1889 in Veron Parish, Louisiana. He lived to be 72 years old.
At age 44 he enlisted as a Private in Capt. Thigpin's Company (Milton Dragoons) of Florida Volunteers.

She married Eustace Studstill in about 1860. Their marriage didn't last long, he may have died in the Civil War. Family history says they had one or two children that died young.
