Almeda Walker was born about 1860 somewhere in Georgia and died about 1940 somewhere in Georgia. Dates for birth and death are estimated. She lived to be about 80 years old.

She married her first cousin, Tom Crow. He was the son of Tom Crow who is buried at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Fairburn, GA. Soon after their marriage they lived around Carrollton, GA. Later they moved to Courtland, AL where Tom was the Chief of Police. He was shot in the leg while making an arrest. The leg had to be amputated and was replaced with a false leg. There children were:

Lacey Crow. He ran a newspaper in Corinth, Mississippi.
Estelle Crow
Clifford Crow
Dolly Crow
Irving Crow
Geneva Crow

At the time of her death, she was living with a daughter in Town Creek, which is west of Courtland. During her last years, she was plagued with back trouble.
