| Description: | The map on the left is a portion of a land deed map that belonged to Jesse Wesley Bailey. It was drawn in 1852 and approved in 1853. The Calhoun County map on the right shows the same located on the Apalachicola River today, highlighted in yellow. Jesse gave the map to his son John Henry Bailey and he gave it to his daughter Jessie F. Bailey Davis. The original of this map was donated to the Florida State Archives in 1988. |
