NIX, aged 58 years, of Morgan, Ga., died this morning at 7 o'clock at Kish sanitorium, on 1505 First avenue, where he was brought ten days ago from his home at Morgan, Ga Mr. NIX has been in declining health for about two years. He was a prominent farmer in his home county and was highly respected by his fellow citizen. He was a member of the Baptist church at Morgan. Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Charles ADAMS and Mrs. W. H. BRIDGES three sons, Mose and Grady NIX, all of near Morgan. The remains will be shipped to Morgan, Ga., where the funeral services and interment will be held." Columbus Ledger newspaper, Wednesday SEP 1, 1920, p. 8. Predeceased by son Oscar L. NIX. |
