Told By Arlene Butler to Gale Wall. She remembers her mother, Mildred Snow, often talking of Ben's dog named Bob. They lived out in the country and when Ben wanted to get a message to his brother, Henry Thomas, he would tie a message to a kerchief on Bob and tell him to "Go". Bob would go to Henry's house and return with an answer to Ben's message. Mildred told her that everyone knew Bob. |
